I liked it; drawings were pretty. The illustrator did a fantastic job of showing emotion and feelings very well. 

 The story didn't stand out to me too much. 

The romance felt off? Although they were longtime friends, it felt too fast.

O.W.L.s Readathon 2020

I'm so happy that my library finally got a copy of this! I've been wanting to read this since last October, and now I've finally gotten the opportunity. I really liked seeing the representation of not only non-binary people, but also people with hearing problems, it was quite refreshing. The only thing that kept my rating from being higher was personal preferences on the romance aspect, I prefer to see characters meet and fall in love, but in this they already felt that way towards each other, and for me that took away some of the enjoyment. The best part, for me, was how chock-full this was with magical goodness, definitely recommend for fans of that.
