This was too stinking cute. Super low stakes and all the feel good romcom goodness. I had a silly good time from start to finish. Ava and Jamie's story was so much fun to read. It was kind of giving Miss Congeniality vibes (Ava being Miss New Jersey, and Jamie being her bodyguard) which is always a favorite.
Ava is an absolute GEM throughout the entire book. I love that she is so authentically HER from start to finish. She's spunky and personable and entered the beauty pageant in order to help out her friends (unlike the rest of the contestants who entered for themselves).
Then you have Jamie...who is stoic and structured and the quintessential bodyguard type who absolutely does NOT want to cross business with pleasure.
Both Ava and Jamie have something on the line from their respective organizations and they both work together as a team to support each other and come out on top in the end.

One word: Run! Go and listen to this AB now the narration brings this story to life. I loved this book it’s such a fun ride: full of sass, spice, adventure and a plot to dethrone the queen. OMG and the epilogue! I won’t give any spoilers but man it is every book girlie’s dream. Ahhhh love!
