This is the start of the Arizona Vengeance Series it’s Bishop and Brooke. Bishop is a member of the newest NHL team the Vengeance and him along with a few of his pals from the team are out one evening enjoying their night when he runs into Brooke, she’s beautiful and smart and what begins as a one night stand on both their parts turns into something else when they accidentally run into one another the next day do to unforeseen circumstances.
The book was great I loved meeting Bishop and Brooke and seeing their story unfold. The author does a magnificent job of keeping the reader engaged. I look forward to reading more of the series.

Woohoo. I am going to miss the Cold Fury, but a brand new series with a brand new team and a whole lotta new hockey hotties for me to adore - sign me up!
Welcome to Phoenix, home of the Arizona Vengeance. And say hello to Bishop while you are at it!
This book starts with one heck of a bang, and I was hooked from then on.
Bishop and Brooke's relationship may not start in the most conventional way, but there is no denying the attraction between them - I mean, you can feel the pheromones flying between them, and the sexual tension can be cut with a knife!
I liked that even though they have their issues, there is nothing too OTT dramatic for our lovelies. They deal with things like adults, no pouty, stupid fights for no reason, they do this thing called "communicating" and sort their sh!t out!
There is something that made me get all stabby, and I feel that it is going to play a part in further books in the series, but I am not sure. I had such a visceral reaction to them - in that I wanted to put my hand into my kindle and slap them stupid!
It was great getting to know a little about the other guys in the Vengeance, and there is one there (not saying who) that I know is going to break my heart when we get to his story - and I can't wait!
Sweet, sexy, hot and funny, I really enjoyed Bishop and can't wait to see what happens next for the Vengeance.

Bishop is the first novel in Sawyer Bennetts new Arizona Vengeance hockey hottie series, and let me tell you, it was so much fun!
I sped through this book in a day, and I loved getting to know Bishop and Brooke, and also some of the other members of the Vengeance.
B and B work together perfectly, and while the whole thing starts off as a fake engagement, you realise very fast that this will not only be a fun ride, but one thats meant to be as well. These two getting to know each other and what their feelings mean is really awesome, and the story flows seamlessly and easily.
There were some great (and not so great) secondary characters involved as well. You’ll know who I mean when you read the book. They added the perfect level of balance to this story.
There’s no huge amount of angst, and issues are dealt with appropriately and not dragged out, which is really nice for me in a book these days.
I had a lot of fun reading this, and I really look forward to the rest of the series!

What a way to start this new hockey series..... with a BANG!!! What do you get when you mix a hot playboy hockey player and a gorgeous New York transplant whose working for the new hockey team? A fun, sexy quick read you can't put down. What happens when a one-night stand turns into so much more? You get Bishop and Brooke trying to maneuver through the lies of a relationship, engagement and eventually realizing there is so much more between them. If you loved the Cold Fury series you'll definitely want to grab this new series!
A spinoff from the Cold Fury series with more hot ice hockey players and them going from being party, good time guys to wanting more. The series starts off with Bishop Scott. Transferred from NY to the new team in the league, Bishop is looking for nothing serious and wants to focus on his career. A scorching hot one-night stand turns into more when the lady, Brooke Perron turns out to be Bishop's coaches daughter. Brooke thinks she's saving the day by telling her father that she and Bishop are engaged but instead creates a difficult situation they can't back out of.
What ensued were lots of sexy times, introductions to other members of the Vengeance team and a bit of drama to keep things interesting. Was an enjoyable read and I look to reading the other books in the series.

Not bad per se, just too bland and boring. Started out great, there was a really strong back-story built and the characters and secondary characters were also done really well but then it sort of fizzled out. The plot was lacking.
I really enjoyed this book in Sawyer Bennett’s new hockey series. The plot was a tad predictable and the fake fiancee trope is a bit over the top, but the characters were interesting, well-written, and the sex scenes were steamier than those in her past hockey series.
I listened to the audiobook and both narrators were perfect for the characters. Definitely can’t wait to read/listen to the rest of the series
