I enjoyed this behemoth, but even my casual reading found two major anachronisms: an elderly man with a cell phone in 1989 and a paternity test in 1978. One is an important plot point! I’m so annoyed with easily correctible errors (and it’s longer than necessary, I have a bone to pick with its editor), but the last section really held my attention and the characterization was very good.

This book had a slow start. It was hard to get into

I loved this book so much. I need to let it sit with me for a bit before I can write a proper review but in love with this book.

Not my favorite of the authors. The pacing was a bit off, and I figured out one of the two big reveals extremely early on. But still, an engaging read with interesting characters and thought provoking central mystery

This book is like an intricate tapestry. Kate Morton weaves each person story thread together into a complex pattern.

This isn't my usual genre and it did take me quite a while to get into the book. However I really enjoyed the twists and turns of the book.
