This was a damn good time. I have read several hook retellings, but the fact that this was actually Peter Pan was *Chef’s kiss.* this was a wild ride and I loved it and I can’t wait to dive into book 2.
Would be so much better without the spice. They are supposed to be lost BOYS.

I absolutely loved this book. I wasn't a 100% when I started it but I flew through it and had to get to the next one. It does end in a cliffhanger so have the next one ready.

This book is unhinged. I don't know why it took me so long to get to it. I love retellings, and there's something in Peter Pan's spirit that always called to me.
This Peter is dark —killing you by taking your heart out of your body while it's still beating kind of dark. AND he shares the MMC role with three other men who are just as interesting and vicious as him.
Winnie is kidnapped and taken to Neverland, as all her mother and all her grandmothers before her, because Peter needs something they have in order to recover his shadow.
Winnie is fierce, reckless and horny 🤷🏻♀️ but I admired her bravery.
The thing is that there is a lot more of this world that hasn't been uncovered, so I'll read the next book. I guess.
