I keep finding these dark romances where I’m like ‘I might enjoy this’ but then I end up loving them😅
Needless to say, I was pleasantly surprised by this one. I don’t think the characters are very fleshed out yet and most chapters were filler…and yet I couldn’t put it down lol
Also the overarching plot has me weirdly invested, I need to know what happens next👀
This book sort of reminded me of Church by K.G. Ruess (though that’s a dark bully romance, not a fairytale retelling) as they had similar character dynamics (though this one seems to be heading in a direction that I’ll actually like😅)

I am so glad that I finally got to read this book. I am a fan of retellings but this one this one is going to live rent-free in my head for a while because I've never been jealous of an FMC more in my life. the story itself was action-packed. in my opinion, I liked the way it flowed. I loved the characters. I love the banter between the characters and I loved the cliffhanger I hope you read this book scratch that you need to read this book ! but remember she's a dark and spicy one ❤️🔥
