Eve and Beckett have known each other for years, and most of that time hate for the other was prevalent. Eve has seen parts of Beckett that no one else has, including one of his best friends, fellow Ice God, and her twin. The two end up going through a tragedy together, which ending up separating them even further. However, that changes when there was a housing mixup at college, and the two end up rooming together. Eve would do anything for her mom, but Beckett’s stepmom is truly the worst. My heart broke for Beckett and everything he has endured; I love how much he needs Eve beside him. While this is a bully romance, Eve has no problem giving Beckett everything he hands to her back, and they have a lot of miscommunications to overcome. I really enjoy this series and cannot wait for more. This is a dark book, so please check the trigger warnings.
love them
I really love Beckett and Eve. I feel like Becketts plot is a hard one to get right but Kane managed it really well. I wasn’t sure about continuing after the first book but ended up reading Nikolai’s story, and really enjoying Kanes writing.

This main character annoyed me. It might be one I pick back up but however for right now how he approaches everything is too frustrating for me to read right now.

I loved both the characters in this book so much. It made me score the book higher. The story was good as well. I just wasn't a huge fan of so much miscommunication. It was used a lot.
Brooding billionaire, cleaner’s daughter and an evil stepmother.
Mila Kane’s books are addicting! I cannot put down the Hellions of Hard Harbor series. A spicy and beautifully written dark romance which was dark enough to break my heart and make me cry.
Also, LOVE the guest appearances from Nikolai and Ronan from the Vicious Vengeance duet ❤️❤️
Trigger warning: child SA. If you don’t understand the magnitude of it, educate yourself and go in with a sympathetic mind or don’t read this book if you’re so judgmental.

Bully romances are kind of hit or miss for me, but this one took the cake. I loved every second of it. The way Beckett and Eve bounce off each other’s energy and personalities was great. The spice was in another level and I just wanted to keep reading their story once it ended. Loved every second of it and can’t wait to see what comes next in the series.
