S blood feud Is always a good way to start a book. This chapter in the saga Has a really strong pace and is enjoyable reading. Cornwell does a really good job of mixing action, history, and general day to day activities that people might have interactive with. The story behind the king and his entourage as well and how they continue to keep Utred in there grasp is also fascinating read. Though I have to wonder how much longer they can keep up the requirement of and oath.

Lots of satisfying things happened that we have been waiting two books to occur. What a great way to learn some history. Historical fiction at its best.
