Bite of Betrayal is the second book in the Blood Oath series. I'm seriously loving this series! We pick up where that epic cliffhanger ended. Alina is dealing with so much right now. Her strength is so admirable. In this book, you see Alina's more vulnerable yet she handles things like a BAMF! The chemistry and tension between her guys is so perfect! The Blood Oath series has EVERYTHING you want in a vampire RH! I definitely can't wait for the next book!

This is 100% the worst and most cringey series I’ve ever read. Bunch of whiny/uncool characters, zero plot/world building, and just overall bad writing

The twist at the end of book one had me HOOKED and I could not wait to see what book two had in store. Safe to say I was not disappointed and enjoyed every twist and turn. Not so much the ending but I know book three will be worth it. I hope.

The characters are what really make this book. Alina is coming to terms with her past and her new self, while also juggling so many other things happening in her life. I’ve enjoyed watching her journey and seeing her become her best self, even if there is still a bit to go, I know she will come out on top. All of the characters are complex, there is more going on than is being let on. While they are trying to become close to one another, they still have a lot to work through.

There is a lot happening politically and there are some hidden agendas in this book, and I can only hope it doesn’t mean too much trouble for these characters. I am very much enjoy Alina’s story and cannot wait to see what happens next.

There are other things I could be reading right now that I know would be better, but I keep reading these so there has to be something about them.

Loving these short little reads in this world of slayers and vampire king and queen. The sexy time seems a bit lacklustre for some reason and I'm not quite sure why that is, maybe it's because I'm used to reading longer books so it's more drawn out and there's more romance involved? Ok Im not quite sure... I have enjoyed this book and finished it in a half day and will continue the series. I am enjoying the trifecta that is Lincoln Andrei and Drake.

This one moved fast but felt more put together, with a twist or two I didn’t see coming!
