the jumps between scenes were kinda weird and confusing sometimes but the story is cool
I read this back in like 2020 or 2021 I think. It was a year before COVID happened, which sucked, because that’s what put the next volume to this being released put off. It’s now the end of 2023 and I still don’t think there’s an official release date for volume 3. However, I will say that I enjoyed seeing a Black character with a deeper skin tone as the main character! I also love that she broke a majority of the “standards” in which most Black animated characters are made. The plot was heavy, the graphics were clear, vivid, and engaging. Overall, I definitely would and have recommended to people. Just wish we’d get volume 3 already to learn what happens next!

I don't know how I feel about this book. There were moments I did not like and then there were moments that I just did not really care about. But I cannot say that it is just bad either. I might continue the series after some time, but it is not as if I am gonna put my plans on pause for this series.

Okay, her dad is getting worse, because you do not take the shit your children have and just throw it out, because you do not want them to do anything about it and you are not willing to explain. Specifically after you make getting the necessary medication their job.
We do love the mechanic that can change absolutely everything about a device.
Is the rider that dude from the beginning or the guy from street rides who is always there to help her?

Absolutely gorgeous art but I wasn't invested in the storyand it felt like the character development took a backseat to the plot so I wasn't attached to the characters either. Also felt a little weird that there wasn't a single Black person on the main creative team.
