Let me start off saying it just gets right to the point for Declan’s character. It had me captured from the first paragraph. This is a dark love story and everything about it was utterly beautiful and terrifying at the same time. The relationship between Declan and Echo is perfect and this man would do anything and everything for his woman. Echo goes through a lot and my heart broke for her at moments. She was fierce and stayed as strong as she could for her love Declan. This is a story I could read again.
So good. Would have been a 5 ⭐️ for me but the climax was very anticlimactic. Seriously, there was some epic build up, and then it was done. The recovery was very unrealistic. I mean seriously 4 months? That would never happen. I was very disappointed in the ending, including the epilogue. It was brief, choppy, and very rushed.
However, the rest of the book was phenomenal. I loved their relationship. I could feel their love for each other. I live there wasn’t a bunch of wishy-washiness on her part. The sex was amazing (excluding the last time).
I feel like the entire Aria storyline was completely dropped. I understand she probably has her own book, but she was a big part of this one, and we got nothing. We don’t even get Aria and Echo’s reunion.
However, the rest of the book was phenomenal. I loved their relationship. I could feel their love for each other. I live there wasn’t a bunch of wishy-washiness on her part. The sex was amazing (excluding the last time).

The story line was hard to pull away from. Echo and Declan were meant for each other with their dark past! Wow super steamy and once I started reading I definitely couldn’t stop! Great start to a series and can wait to see where the next book takes us.

There’s nothing I love more than a stalker romance but throw in spicy scenes, drama, suspense, and everything else and I loved this. Echo and Declan are broken people but they learn to heal through each other. The spice was so well done and dang, Declan is smoking hot, but Echo meets him in the middle every time. Cannot wait for the next book!

Very slow to start, mostly predictable but had one good storyline that took me by surprise
What an amazing debut novel! I was not sure what to expect going in but the characters quickly steal your heart. All of the characters are strong and fierce and so well written.
The story is multi dimensional so it leaves you wanting to know more. It's so much more than a romance novel. Action, with a bit of twist. Cannot wait for book 2!!
