I kind of liked it as a kid, and I kind of liked it as an adult. But as an adult, I couldn't stand the passive nature of all the adults in the book. Pippi does something outrageous, and the adults just shrug and look the other way. For example,the teacher didn't try to teach her anything, she just gave up and tried a different activity again and again, not once correcting her or you know, actually teach her anything.

this was such a fun and quick read. Pippi was seriously my childhood hero and to see her now in her original form, oh I love it!
