We listened to the Judi Dench narration at bedtime and my family adored it.
Read aloud to Kamryn and she found this to be quite entertaining:) She giggled and giggled at Pooh's being a bear of very little brain moments:)

MPSRC 2020 - Book with a non-human main character
I hadn't read WTP since I was a kid, but it was everything I remembered - whimsical, entertaining and uplifting. I read the illustrated book while listening to the audio version. The book gets 5 stars - the illustrations are colorful and fun. The audio version gets 4.5 stars, but for an it's-not-you-it's-me reason - I didn't like the voices. Specifically, I didn't like Piglet's voice. The scattered snorting throughout his every sentence made me cringe. But, recognizing that I am not the book's intended audience, the snorts may well charm the younger set. Snorts aside, the story has stood the test of time and WTP and friends remain some of my favorite characters.
