I struggled through this one kept thinking it would get better or that I was missing something. It went from an interesting premise - the FMC finds out her mother and sister didn’t die in a car accident, but her sister murdered her mom and her dad hid it from her.
From that reveal the plot just became more and more unhinged. Unhinged in a not very good way. About 75% of the way through I realized it wasn’t going to come together for me, but I kept reading to confirm. It was just one unbelievable thing after the other, one stupid decision after another. I would pass on this one.

Could have lost at least 100 pages from this book with all the repetitiveness. Didn’t love the writing style either - I could see what the author was trying to do but it just didn’t hit for me. Then the plot got so crazy it just kind of lost me. Interesting premise but for me the execution brought my enjoyment down.
