Ugh. I think I’m just too old for this book. I also don’t like when a happily ever after book is wrapped up in the final 10 minutes.

this was cute. and just what i needed to read. i love a fun ya romance.

unironically legendary no notes . I had a great time, LowKey glad I read this series out of order bc the sequel to this is not the vibe…like I have to play cricket now it’s so serious…ellie and dev 4ever

Super cute very high school YA story. Does the FMC get a little annoying…she’s in high school. (I had to remember this) but it definitely took me back to my younger years and all those stories of someone in HS trying to pass off as someone older to impress the hot guy.

So this is about Elle who was embarrassed at a birthday party of a guy she had a crush on. Wanting to get away, she gets the opportunity to go on a school trip to Europe.

She has to take classes but also enjoys an adventure, meeting hot British boys and getting to know school mates and discovering more about herself.

I did take a little while to warm up to this book. Parts of it felt a little predictable and I almost rolled my eyes at the ‘lying about being in collage’ plot point. But as it progressed I did start to enjoy it more and I did like the core cast of the American characters.

It did however feel rushed in places, especially the ending (I would have liked an epilogue) and whilst I personally did prefer there not being too much focus on the breakup I could’ve just done with a little more rounding out of plot and character points before the ending.
