This book has so many of the things I enjoy in a contemporary novel. Lovely romance, a little bit of magic, reflective personal growth/coming of age, publishing industry…. 

I don’t know if I dare say it is a perfect book for me, but it pretty much is.

This book was a warm hug to start 2024. I immediately related to Clementine and just as quickly fell in love with Iwan. I love the wah this author painted every image, every feeling so clearly in my mind. I love the way this story deals with grief and change. And now I just want to fall in love.
