3rd timing reading this book, 2nd time with Dracula Daily. It’s so much fun to read in real/time. I love it!!!
This was a re-read with Dracula Daily. It was cool to read it as it happened chronologically, but overall this book did not age well!!!! I loved the beginning at the castle, but it really went downhill from there. Very old fashioned and patriarchal and just mostly blech

The classic! Easily the best vampire novel. The atmosphere is immaculate, and the first part of the book is really good! Sucks that I can't read though.

It is amazing going back and actually understanding the character of Dracula and it's origins. It also weaves a lot of the beliefs and morals of Victorian society for an interesting window into that point and time
