This is why grannies are awesome! They will do everything they can for their grandchildren, but of course they forget a few things along the way, which makes them clueless and adorable!

Patrick is having his first sleepover at his granny's house. But there are some problems. Like, he doesn't have a bed. No problem. Granny is super resourceful. She goes out, chops down a tree and makes him a bed. He doesn't have a pillow. No problem, Granny is resourceful. But the list of things Patrick doesn't have at Granny's house is long, so you can imagine - what may happen at the end of the book - but it may surprise the little you are reading to the first time through.
A fun read with nice repetition to help with literacy skills and allow for "chorus" on the "WHAAAAT" lines.

This was a winner at Preschool Storytime, even with one skeptical little kid who kept asking "weally?" while rolling his eyes.
