Mi sono avvicinato a questo libro con grande curiosità, sia per le recensioni estremamente positive, sia perché il tema affrontato si interseca con quello di cui mi occupo per lavoro. The Culture Code cerca infatti di spiegare come mai alcuni gruppi di persone (in contesti diversi, dai dipendenti della Pixar ai militari addestrati per missioni speciali e ad alto rischio) riescono a ottenere risultati eccezionali, mentre altri no. È un saggio che parte da esempi e aneddoti estremamente concreti, arrivando successivamente a individuare gli elementi che determinano il successo. Una lettura piacevole e per nulla difficile (l’ho letta, per altro, in inglese perché non mi risulta che il libro sia stato ancora tradotta in italiano), ma non così sconvolgente come lasciavano intuire le recensioni. È anche piuttosto breve.

I honestly don't even know where to start with this book. The best book on leadership I have ever read followed by Julie Zhao's Making of a Manger. Coyle hits on so many key principles of effective leadership, and makes the reader realize they can tackle these changes themselves. Now I just hope that while working in a hyper-regulated environment, these are not out of reach.
