I've begun my journey into the world of Harry Potter. I missed out on this series as a kid. So many of my good friends absolutely grew up with these books and are still avid fans. I think it was far more appealing to dive into the HP series knowing how much my friends love it. I'm excited to read the entire series and hopefully have a massive marathon of the movies once I'm done.
The Sorcerer's Stone was a fun read, definitely have some favorite characters already and can't wait to see how they develop throughout the series.

Oh yeah! I was also slightly dissapointed that Hagrid's birthday cake message for Harry was written in perfect Japanese. In the English version it was badly written, suggesting a low level of education. I was hoping to see an equivalent in the Japanese translation and was curious as per how they'd choose to translate it. I guess they decided to avoid it lol

The first time through lived up to the hype and then some. This book was absolutely fantastic. Full of engaging adventures, lovable characters and classic quotes. Plus, twists and turns around every corner which made this read so exciting!
