This was such a hilarious series! Kyoko was such a quirky character and was always doing stuff to get into trouble. I liked the transformation of her character throughout the series and how she found out that instead of having to rely on a boy she could make it on her own. There was a love triangle that I also enjoyed very much.

Well I wanted drama and I got it. I'm still not pleased with the lack of progress and denseness of the female lead. It's getting beyond the point of ridiculousness. I'm seriously disappointed.

I cannot believe I forgot about Reino, Mr. Beagle himself lmao. I totally thought that was Sho demanding chocolates last volume, but I was indeed right about Sho being the caller at least.

The drama was absolutely S tier here, I love when Sho, Ren, and even the Beagle guy are all around causing trouble for Kyoko, it just adds some extra spice, you know??

I also love the silly aspect that Reino has some form of ESP and can not only see Kyoko's grudge spirits, but can even capture them. That is the exact amount of unserious, over-the-top writing that I adore.

Valentines (and birthday) arc!!!! Its classic holiday tropey shenanigans. Love the friendship scenes of Moko and Kyoko making chocolates. But yea no, I can skip every moment with Moko and her younger costar. I hate Beagle but the Hate Choco is perfection, especially when Ren & Yashiro & Sho all draw the wrong conclusions. Ready to reread the next volume knowing what happens after that Sho cliffhanger entrance.

Kyoko is blackmailed into making Valentine's chocolates for Reino from Vie Ghoul - which Sho finds out about (by calling Kyoko like a creep) and becomes violently jealous! Meanwhile, Moko asks Kyoko for help making chocolates for her co-star Hiroi, and Kyoko decides not to make chocolate for Ren, even though she does for everyone else who is important to her. Then Sho shows up with a big-ass bouquet of flowers to mess with Kyoko?!?
