this had a lot of ingredients that I like. I mean, it's a freaking Beauty And The Beast retelling. I'm trash for a Beauty and the Beast retelling. Seriously.
Yet, this one didn’t work me.

This book is like ACOTAR and Beauty and the Beast had a child. Then that child wanted to stab everything and asked about tonics to prevent pregnancy. I enjoyed the beginning and middle of this book, then the ending was fairytale weird.

This book took some really big inspiration from ACOTAR but there are things that make it its own thing. However, the writing style was very much telling the reader what the character is rather than just showing the character doing things.
