This was such an interesting book. I love that it was a historical romance. I feel like having a dream "lover" is something I have read before but in modern times. So that made it different and interesting because I love historical romances so much. This book was dark and also funny at times and that made for such an enjoyable book!

This had the makings of everything I love. I even love tropes if they’re done in a fresh way but this was disappointing. Boring and tropey. It was painfully obvious what was going on from the beginning so the “twist” if you could even call it that was not shocking in the least. Also for a book with the word passions in the title you would think there would be copious amounts of sex, right? Wrong. There’s one and it’s not even juicy.
bottom line: skip it. This was not worth the $2.99
