What a waste of time.
This is a collection of poorly written essays without any points. Half of them I didn’t understand what was about because Lebowitz ranted about things she doesn’t like - maybe that’s on me, maybe I’m just stupid.
I get that it’s supposed to be funny, but the humour is not even slightly amusing. Lebowitz seems arrogant and even though she might exaggerate most of the time, her sense of humour just doesn’t work very well. And when none of the essays/texts have any points, I’m just left annoyed.

I won’t rate this book because I’m well aware that most essays I didn’t like or didn't understand, have to do with the time, place, cultural and social context in which they were written. Nevertheless, I had a great time reading this book. Even if I don’t agree with all of Fran Lebowitz points of view, some are inevitably very dated, I loved reading a book where the author shares her thoughts about the most trivial things so freely and in such a fun way.
