I don’t even know what to say other than....holy fuck. This was the perfect bittersweet wrap up to the series with all the things we love from the first two books.
It made me laugh out loud and cry, Jay poking fun at his own writing, the revelation of the narrator, the battle scenes, Ash and Mia and Tric. God I can’t take it.
My heart will always be forever with Mia and Mr.Kindly

In every breath, hope abides

don't even understand the point of this book lol. what was the point of bringing tric back or saying that mia died at the end? I mean - she certainly did but not in the way one would have hoped. you took so much time to make this series edgy and kickass as hell. in the end all of the characters just kind of faded out like a bad dream. the first two books in this series will forever remain some of my favorite books of all time but i have to say - the way this ended was just atrocious. oh well! onto better books.

A really nice ending to this series. Didn’t quite top Godsgrave but a close second forsure. Such an amazing world, I’m so glad I decided to read this series. BigJon and his obscenities will always make me laugh.

Giving this book 2 stars was tough for me.

I loved books 1 and 2 and thought that number 3 would be equally up there for me but honestly for me it fell well short.

I found it really hard to slip back into this universe and I thought it was just after binge reading a lot of Raymond E Feist recently. I thought i'd find comfort back in this world somewhere throughout the book but it never got there for me.

Honestly towards the end I struggled so much that I ended up skim reading major chunks of text because it was so predictable.

Finishing a series is always so tough so I feel for the author here.
