This was a pretty good mystery! I did predict the plot twist, but it was still fun!
Olivia Adams disappeared from her garden when she was six years old. The small community of Stoneridge was in turmoil. How could she have vanished in a such a small English village?
Now she’s back thirteen years later. Her mother is sure it’s her but so many people don’t believe it. Where has she been all this time and what really happened that afternoon? Some people would rather she stays missing though. They think the past should stay in the past and secrets have to remain buried.
A very fast paced twist thriller that kept me turning the pages until the end. I did figure out some of the twists along the way but it didn’t spoil my enjoyment of the book in any way. This is my first book by this Author and I will definitely be on the look out to read more. I really enjoyed reading this.

Thank you to NetGalley and Bookouture for an ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review.
Five-year old Olivia Adams disappeared from her back garden in Stoneridge. The whole community joined in the search but she was never found. 13 years later, Olivia comes back. The whole town is intrigued by her sudden reappearance but not everyone is happy about it.
I have read a few of Kerry Wilkinson's book in a short span of time. He is without a doubt a talented writer. That being said, I felt that this novel lacked that certain 'something' that is present in all of his books that I have read thus far. It was well-written but the plot was not executed as smoothly as in his other books. The fact that I still read it super fast despite feeling like this shows that it is still a good book in my eyes.
I would recommend this book and the others that I have read this far. Kerry Wilkinson is definitely one of my favourite authors.

Very competent little suspense story, which benefits from being set in a claustrophobic small English village. I'm not sure I agree with reviewers who talk of a final surprising twist (it's sorta obvious what's coming), but it's all played out efficiently.
I would have rated this more highly, but I couldn't reconcile myself to an incident revealed near the end about the narrator; it was not only gratuitously nasty, but also out of character & unnecessary.
