This was an excellent follow-up to Bowen's first novel A Street Cat Named Bob. I could read a million books about the amazing Bob. James and Bob have such an amazing relationship, and I love reading about what a phenomenal cat Bob is and how he saved James's life. I got teary-eyed more than once while reading this book. It was an fantastic read!

I wanted to read this second book in the second book in the Bob-the-cat series because I wanted to learn how James came to write and publish his story. I was not disappointed. Plus I was so in love with Bob. What a plucky cat. I believe the cat really saves James' life and James saved Bob's life. Now I will have to go to the Internet to find out how things are going with the dynamic duo.

I love Bob! It's taken me a while to read this book simply because I've been distracted by everything else in life, but also because every once in a while you come across a book you just don't want to end. This is one of those books. It's such a beautiful story of a man's love for his cat and how everything changed for the better once Bob came into his life. I loved the 1st book, and I loved this one as well. I look forward to reading the next one!
