It’s cute! My daughters love reading it with me and it’s a quick read. It reminds me a bit of the original Amelia Bedelia books, but with magic. I appreciate that the mom is otherwise eminently capable at adult and parenting life.

This was a very cute read, I read it in an hour and got a few laughs and chuckles out of it and I really liked that about this book. I'd say if you're looking for a very light, fluffy, and funny read this would be for you or your daughter, son, younger sister, brother, niece or nephew haha. I do have to say normally I wouldn't read something like this but since it was sent to me as PR mail I decided to check it out. I have a thing for magic so I think that's mostly why I decided to give it a go too. My eleven year old sister is interested in reading it too so that's a plus. All in all, as I said it was a cute, fun read, nothing heavy or dark about this one and it was a very fast read as well.. :)

A frilly silly girly early chapter book. Ella's mom is a fairy, as are all of the women in her family, but she's not not very good at it. So it's one mistake after another, kind of kiddie "Bewitched".
Picked this one off the juvenile shelf to read as I know Sophie Kinsella from her other books and thought I’d give it a try. It’s been a long time since I’ve picked up a juvenile book, so there were a couple times that I thought it was a little cringey. I think it’s a great family book though with multiple stories in one book, the plot focused mainly on a mother and daughter, and it had some great family discussion questions in the back. It was a sweet read.
