Here we are. Number 3. Can’t get any worse right?
As always my BFF was there to enjoy my guttural reactions to this trash. I owe her dinner or something when Rona is over after this reading adventure. Alright let’s goooooo:

Me: Who doesn’t love some solid fat shaming in the 3rd book? I mean, it would be a missed opportunity if there wasn’t any.
BFF: Truly what the third book needed to round it out

Me: ooh, now we havin sex in a sports car as if it’s not gonna be the most uncomfortable thing to ever happen ever. Lmao
BFF: Really affirms my asexual lifestyle.
Me: no one wins in car sex. So, yes, it should.
BFF: I appreciate you affirming THAT.

Me: it was a missed opportunity to have Ana hyphenate her last name.
BFF: I always thought Ana Fifty had a nice ring to it.
Me: lmaoooooooooo

Me: Christian Grey would know about guns. He never wants to be caught off guard anywhere on any subject. There’s no fuckin way he doesn’t know about guns.
BFF: HE WOULD HAVE A FUCKING ARSENAL
Me: without a doubt

The line: But am I strong enough for the both of us? Strong enough to do what I’m told and give him some peace of mind? I sigh. He’s not asking that much of me.
Me: THATS NOT ASKING THAT MUCH OF ME. Oh no, change your life, your habits, no more friends, no going out, don’t work, nooooo that’s not asking much! Jesus fuck.
BFF: Not asking much of you at all. Just your asshole.
Me: I mean, that’s nothing really.

Me: I also love the HEAVY girl on girl hate in this book.
BFF: Which is DELIGHTFUL.

Me: I have one question... Why ARE Christian’s feet SO HOT?!?
BFF: THEY CARRY THE HOTTEST GUY.

Some time later- - - I sent my BFF a video of my full reaction to Christian wanting to drink breast milk. Then I couldn’t stop laughing.

Me: Why is “Christian’s first Christmas” the most grueling part of this intensely grueling book?
BFF: I cringed.

I mean, I did too. Through the whole book. The whole series is cringe. That should be its tag line. Final thoughts: I think I hate “kinky fuckery” more than I hate “envisaged.” The line about how they “die a thousand deaths” happens a lot. I wish they actually would have. Christian is the worst, character arc aside. Like I said with the book You, some of y’all have never been in a controlling, volatile relationship and it shows.

Like, here, let me leave you with this doozy of a line:
“You were so mad,” I murmur.
“Yes. I was.”
“At me?”
“No. Not at you.” He kisses my shoulder. “For once.”
I smile. Not mad at me. This is progress. “Makes a nice change.”

Yeah, yeah. This is a healthy relationship. This is the couple that should be idolized. *YYYYYYIIIIIIIIIIKKKKKKKEEEEEEESSSS*

Final final thoughts: I get it. I do. But holy shit is this trilogy bad. Abuse is not cute. And the writing itself is terrible. My brain wanted trash, and now it’s exhausted. This whole book is a red room of pain, without the fun stuff.
dark emotional reflective slow-paced

It's better than the other two but definitely one of those guilty-pleasure-Jerry-springer-twilight-ice cream and chocolate books. Not great or enlightening but entertaining.

The ending was pretty odd. It was all over the place. I don't think that E.L. James is that talented style-wise but I guess you could say she's pretty creative. I wouldn't read it again but this is one of those books you have to read at least once in your life.

This book continues with the lives of Christian and Anastasia ,their life together their marriage and stuff like that and of course there is sex .What I like about this book that there wasn't many references to sex or it didn't talk much about sex like it did in the 1st book. I like this better cause in the 1st book it kinda off got repetitive(*I just skimmed over it*). All said yes there is some of it in here along with some drama, danger and also some near death experiences with couple people actually
There is some suspense ,mystery stuff going on over here in their lives but I really loved the ending of this book. I loved how the book ended they reach a new step in their relationship together along with their family n friends,All the demons put aside and they were finally freed.
