He wants nothing more than to catch one, very much like the mole and the moon in [b:Bringing Down the Moon|639665|Bringing Down the Moon|Jonathan Emmett|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1320407679l/639665._SX50_.jpg|625878] by Jonathan Emmett and Vanessa Cabban.

I love Oliver Jeffers. His pictures are simple but colorful and his stories are cute and usually just the right amount of silly for me. This one was cozy and quiet and sweet. Not a toddler book, but certainly one I will try with preschool or older.

Used the general theme of "not giving up" in conjunction with an "attempting world records" activity for grades 1-5.

I'm starting to love this series. It just simply features a narrative of fantastical bliss. My little girl loved the story and the drawings of Jeffers are simply stunning.
