gory, visceral and so real it felt like i could reach out and touch the wolf's fur. i love werewolves and mongrels tied the wolf in with the realities of the rural working class in a way that makes sense. the wolf making fake silver bullets, all the stories and the howling <3

Another home run from Jones! This book was gripping, and so meloncholy in a way that’s hard to describe. This author is so gifted at making settings and characters that you just can’t let go of, and there’s always a piece of you in each story.
