Fun banter, some not so fun pranks. Jessie as a main character wasn’t my favorite.

I kind of wish I’d DNFd when I first thought about it about 25 pages in and the author had already used the word “tender” about 10 times. It’s a completely irrational pet peeve of mine when authors repeat words like that. I couldn’t get past it. Needless to say, 87 (kidding… probably) more uses of that word and I just couldn’t get into the story.
