An excellent collection of stories and poems of Irish myth, including one of my favourite poems, The Stolen Child. Arranged in sections based on the type of creature or tale.

A mixed bag, with some really interesting tales and some forgettable ones.

I love the magic and the mythical creatures in these stories. And the poems are beautiful. There are some weird parts, and a lot of the stories are a little creepy or sad, but it's so fascinating! I want to read the poem at the end to my kids every St. Patrick's Day!
