Ok, ok. I know I should also give this four stars, it’s not a masterpiece, I’m not shocked by anything, but like the first book in this series I just loved reading this so much. It was a fun sports romp. Definitely a good book to read in between heavier books where you are trying to figure everything out. Because this book doesn’t require my brain to figure out twists and turns, I am able to get really invested in the characters and the emotions they are experiencing and I love that. I also enjoy the author’s writing. And the spicy scenes are great. Lots of spice- rougher than the first if that’s more your speed.  I only I wish we had gotten to see more of Reese’s sister, Rosie, but maybe down the road we will get a book about her? At first it seemed like maybe the author was setting something up between
Grant and Rosie, but knowing that the next book is about Grant and a pen pal, I’m thinking not.
The last thing I will say is if you are triggered by
death of a parent and dealing with that trauma and grief
then this may not be the book for you.

Enjoyed the book, but the characters and plot lacked some depth which led to me getting a little bored towards the end.
