This book was nothing like I expected it to be, in a good way! It had its action scenes, emotional scenes and some really funny scenes. I will admit, the beginning was a bit slow and hard to get into, but I ended up loving all of the characters (except Jasper.... and Drew.....) and actually really enjoying the storyline. THAT PLOT TWIST THOUGH, I still don't know how to feel about it D:
All in all, it was a very entertaining read (that made me tear up at times and other times made me want to rage all over) and I can't wait for the sequel!
Am I the only one who ships Callron? If my tears will be endless.

This book takes you into a magical world, however; if you are thinking Harry Potter, think again. I really didn’t see similarities. If anything it was unique and anti-Harry Potter- but in a good way.
I don’t want to ruin anything, but I can say it will give you your magical world fix but just in a different way. Also there are some very grown up issues from book one. After the second book you are flabbergasted at what one person has on his shoulders.
I love these for their unique magic and tackling if difficult things. I like them for being different than HP but still really cool.
