I love these audiobooks. The author is so clever and the narrator is so funny. These have quickly become some of my favorite books and they single handedly made me get a libro fm account to purchase the audiobooks.

I did not read the first book, so didn't know what to expect or if I would be lost because of references to the first book. I'm not sure I liked the writing style, although I did find it amusing how Ernest described how a book with a murder should be written and the rules that he needed to follow. Some of the characters were entertaining, many were annoying and some were just boring. I did like how he linked certain things that didn't seem important on their own together with other things mentioned later in the book. I found how things were tied together to be clever.
