I just didn’t care about anything that was going on! I thought the premise was really interesting and unique but the author failed to make me care whatsoever about any of the characters. A lot of the drama seemed forced and self invented.

Cute and fluffy. The banter when the two get together is very adorable and honestly, I would read a whole cozy story about their life together; just being cheesy and succeeding in life. [As a side note, did not know there was smut in the book. That was a surprise. I don't like sex scenes, but I didn't feel like I had missed anything by skipping them.]

What I did not like was Jordan convincing Astrid to take credit and then Astrid convincing herself it was her fault for taking the credit??? Like what?

I love Herring-Blake’s writing style! Her characters feel so real and alive and I’m obsessed with every page. I just want more and more.

A fun story with a thoughtful, careful handling of perfectionism, low self-esteem, and queer identity. It was nice to read a story about a woman with a late discovery of sexuality.

I loved this book as it shows the coming out process for older women.
