This was a middle of the road read for me. I thought there were some funny moments as well as some heart warming moments - but ultimately I was compelled to continue reading. I found the characters to be fairly forgettable and the story to just be uninspired.

I could hug this book. It's one of my favorite reads of the year. So much laughing, then "Wait, why are my eyes leaking?" I loved it and went through my mental list of people to recommend it to. Everyone. I recommend it to everyone.

I enjoyed this book. It think it was just the right amount of love, understanding and hate. I like how there were side stories that helped the story. Sometimes they can take away from it but in this case it helped it. Glad I read this one.

Calling this one DNF at page 113… I just don’t like it. The mom is a combination of something I love (an animal rescuer) and something I loathe (a raving homophobe) and I just can’t bring myself to care a whit about what happens to any of the characters except Paw Paw who is sort of adorable. This book may be for some people but it’s just not for me.
