Much like it's setting, this book took a long time to arrive where it was heading, but it was an enjoyable read.

I really loved this book and the collaboration between Simsion and his wife Anne Buist worked perfectly. As someone who finds the Camino very fascinating I liked the history and stories about the different ways to traverse interesting. The love story that is at the center of the book reminded me of the movie Serendipity...just missing each other or somehow connected by someone else on the walk. Excellent read!

This is a story about two people walking the St James Way, a long distance pilgrims path from France to Spain. The story about Zoe and Martin is very sweet but it is the journey they make on the Way that, for me, is the best part of the book. They walk for months, lose themselves and find themselves in most unexpected ways. It a lovely book but be warned - you will want to make your own pilgrimage once you have finished reading.

A lovely light read, which taught me a bit about the Camino de Santiago, and which has further fed my desire to one day walk (or hike, or run, or swim, or cycle) a long, long way....
