Affirming, intuitive, deep and rich, wise with women’s, people’s, stories from their time on this earth, when life was unknown and something to feel into and explore.
Reading this, I wanna remind myself to trust myself foremost. Everything in this book is mine first, and that’s a beautiful thing.

I know I am not alone in reviews for people who found this book unenlightening, so I will be brief. If you consider yourself a modern feminist that doesn't feel defined by your sex, or someone who doesn't enjoy self-important brain numbing analytics, do not read this book. If you were given this as a gift and want to give it a go: read the first chapter, and then only read the stories associated with every other chapter.

I finally gave this abridged audio another try and really loved so much of the message. I wish the audio was unabridged, but gained a lot from what was available. There's just no other way to read Estes' work. Her voice is its own character in every story she tells. She's lovely.
