This series started out great but with each new instalment, it's just becoming more of a drag. I hope the author turns it around with the next book.

I loved book 2 and 3 for their singlemindedness; how they were focused on one thing from start to finish and all the mishaps and adventures were still connected.
Not so much here.

Strangely, despite enjoying this book I wanted to rate it lower. It's pretty low-brow and I'm a little embarrassed that I enjoyed it as much as I did. Guilty pleasure?

Great
I really enjoy this series, the snarky characters, the action is enjoyable and the main character is just mindless fun. But that also touches on what annoys me in this series is all the abilites and items that seem like a great deal when aquired, but just e ds up forgotten and unused....

Some of them being the rallying cry ability which gives 10%hp to your friends in battle, or the skill books and ability potions that has to be dealt out. The books and pots seemed to kinda be a big deal since it would help the village immensly and help binging them more tightly to our might hero...
