2.5 stars - it was okay, nothing amazing. I found the drama between the main couple was resolved way too quick. within a couple of pages everything was perfect again and they were madly in love.

I will try another of the series and give it another shot before writing it off.

Jace was the best part of this book and he was barely in it. Everything else, despite seeming interesting at first, just got more and more bland as I kept reading. I grew more and more disconnected until eventually I stopped caring. Extra half star for Jace, and also because the antagonist was someone extremely unexpected.

I’m kinda curious about a few of the other books in this series, especially Jace’s and Kelsey’s, but I don’t think I’m all that interested in reading more from Roni Loren.

Also, to all the readers who tagged this book as lighthearted, enough so to get it officially labeled that way… what the actual hell. I don’t even wanna know what y’all consider dark.

That being said, definitely check the content warnings on this one. It can be a lot.

This. Was. Awesome. From the very second I picked it up I pretty much couldn't put it down. There are so many things I loved from the characters to the intrigue to the writing. It was just a fantastic story and excellent introduction to the series.

I loved the style of writing and how this story was set up. I loved that it went back and forth from present day to past. It had such an excellent build as I waited for those two to intersect. Brynn and Reid are fascinating characters. They have such a history and I was just so excited to learn everything. I loved seeing them in both past and present and watching them grow and develop. I loved how the author pulled me in with the alternating chapters, I was hanging on ever word. I loved all the details, the depth and layers. There was an excellent element of intrigue mixed in too and an awesome amount of steamy hotness, passion, and a bit kinky sex. I loved it all.

Brynn and Reid were so fantastic together. I loved them reconnecting and the sexual tension and animosity between the two. It was awesome! I loved watching their different past and present struggles and really figuring out who they are and what they wanted. There's a nice amount of drama mixed in with the intrigue and the ending had me holding my breath. I love being consumed by a story. CONSUMED!

Loved all the characters that were introduced and the set up of The Ranch. Jace and Grant were my favorites. This is the first book in a series with a lot of others released already so I am excited for more and glad I don’t have to wait.

The writing was so excellent. Roni Loren is a heck of a story teller. The way this was structured though, I really did love it. It kept my attention the entire time, making me turn the page like a mad woman. I loved different POVs in play as well. Reid, Brynn, and Jace. I need more Jace for sure. Just a fantastic story!

So, excellent read. Passionate, sexy, and with intriguing characters. Awesome storyline. Great intrigue, drama, and emotion… and super hot sex. 5 sizzling stars for Crash into You!

I might come back to this one. I'm just not feeling it. The author bounces back and forth between then and now way too much that it's effecting the story for me. I'll be loving being in the now and then bam she pulls me out to go to then.

I love Roni Loren so I might be a little biased. Loved the angst but wished there was more to the conflict and a more drawn-out conclusion. The ending felt a little rushed given the build-up.

First read; Dec 2014

Reread; July 2015
:

Finishing Pike's book a few days ago made me want to reread the rest of the books in this series so I did (and my TBR pile weeps). Still love it like the first time, yep.

Reread; May 2017:

TW: rape, some gory torture shit-

I haven't reread this in a while so I forgot how intense the story was. I felt a lot for Brynn; she went through a lot of hurt and deserved to be cherished. Reid isn't my favourite Roni Loren hero but he's pretty great so yea. Roni Loren really knows how to hit all my kinks.

Reread; June 2019:

I miss this kinky world.
