The first volume with Buggy the clown provides more characterization, humour, and suspense. It is malarkey at its best.

One Piece is such a fun and quick read that also has a lot of heart. Oda does an excellent job of creating characters that you can instantly connect to. This volume had an absolutely heartbreaking side story while also making me laugh out loud in places. I'm excited that there is so much to read because this series is quickly capturing my heart.
