At the time of this writing, this book is listed as 0.5 in the series, but it's 1.5 in my opinion. It's mentioned as taking place in the epilogue of book one.

This was fine, but pretty forgettable and really, didn’t seem to have a point. I’m reading book #1 in this series and this prequel pretty much has nothing to do with it at this point. It was fine but unnecessary.

Baring It All (Jepstow #0.5) by Megan Frampton – Sometimes a lady just has to take her absentmindedly brilliant fiancé in hand! A perfect little treat! Happy Reading!

I'm not sure that this one can be accurately described as a novella - it was a very short read, more of a teaser really. Lady Violet is engaged to her friend's brother, Lord Christian; however, she's having some misgivings since her fiance doesn't pay her that much attention. As much as she wants to marry Christian, Violet doesn't want to be a neglected wife. Violet decides to take matters into her own hands and seduce Christian.

Despite the fact that this one was very short, I enjoyed it. I found it amusing that Violet decides to seduce Christian in his office and I found Christian's reluctance to be comical. I did feel like I was missing a good chunk of their relationship due to the short length, but it was still a decent read.

I also found this one rather difficult to review due to the short length. The writing was good, the story was straight to the point and then it was over. I'm not sure that anything else needs to be said. It would be a good read for someone who is strapped for time and just needs a quick departure from reality.

The second book in the Jepstow duet, and much like the first book, it was a highly enjoyable read. I always enjoy a nice slow delve into love, and MF does this well, IMO. I liked the idea of an already betrothed couple finding their way into a deeper, more lasting emotional connection that could lead them to their happily ever after. A fun read!

Very quick and light read.

Short novella about an engaged couple, where heroine is not sure her future husband even realise she's a woman (ha!) and decides to seduce him. A little bit of starched hero gets thoroughly unstarched.

Pure smut, but that's all right and for what it is, this isn't bad. I haven't yet read the full related book 'What Not to Bare' though, although both were on a watchlist, this simply happened to be cheap so I bought and read it, it may be that I should already know the characters but I don't think it matters.

I got this novella as I wanted to try a Regency Historical without a ton of commitment.

This was short - even for a novella.

The writing was great - not sure if the time period is for me

Gonna ponder it some more and write more of a review tonight
