A childhood classic that I listened to on audiobook. I resonate with this version of Anne so deeply. I'm working and in school in a new place, away from my significant other and family. I loved this book, and before it was my least favourite when I was a kid.

I enjoyed this a little less than the other books I’ve read of this series so far, but it was still quite lovely. I would’ve liked to see a lot more of  Gilbert, though

Miss Montgomery oh how you have let me down on this one 😭 who were all these characters and where were all of our beloved characters from the first three books? I truly wish this didn't include the letters because it was dreadfully confusing. Looking forward to more Anne adventures and hoping this was just a blip in my enjoyment of them.

Out of all the Anne of Green Gables movies created by Sullivan Films, the fourth one was always my favorite. There was just something about Anne's adventures with the Pringles and Katherine that made it so fun! So it made me very happy to read the book which inspired the movie. As always, there are so many more fantastic details in the story that the movie never showed. Katherine especially was a much more interesting character and it was a joy to be introduced to Elizabeth...or Betty....or Lizzie...or whatever she wants to be called that day. Cute read!
