Winter, a doctor with an ass of a husband and the ice queen as she is always described, isn’t as icy as anyone might think. because it is only a thin layer to her warm interior. One Theo Silva, a bull rider that is 2 years younger than her, is confident in getting through to her.

Perhaps no one anticipated that the night they met will bind their lives forever as new life started. But it never is easy just like that.

All I can say is that I fricking love Elsie Silver and that I can’t wait for the next (last book I am afraid). But I am so happy I decided to pick up the first book just because I saw a thing about the cowboy hat tule on the internet.

Winter is such a strong woman. Going through what she has and still standing strong on her feet is admirable and I am so glad Theo finally showed her that she has people around her to lean against.

That said, Theo is also just a sweet golden retriever with kinky side (literally barked at her). The way he immediately dropped everything to step into the role of fatherhood is also something to admire.

And now I can’t wait for Hopeless to come out. But I know I will be sad saying goodbye to these people.

Loved the reverse grumpy/sunshine. Loved how patient Theo was with Winter. Loved that there was no third act breakup. All together, the book was really cute.

I am usually not a fan AT ALL of miscommunication and accidental pregnancy tropes. This book has both and somehow I still found the book enjoyable! I ended up loving and connecting a lot with Winter and Theo was a delightful love interest (I also appreciated his moments of weakness). Grumpy FMC x Sunshine MMC.

What to expect: opposites attract, one night stand, accidental pregnancy, forced proximity

Seeing Winter come so far from the first book makes me tear up. Then add Theo to the mix? I'm a goner

OH MY GOSH!!

I didn’t think any more could too Heartless because I absolutely loved Willa and Cade but Reckless came in and literally wreaked my heart!!

I mean Theo!!! I absolutely love him! I mean talk about a stand up guy!! I think I could read a whole series of just him!! 😍😍

I think the Willa still stands as my favorite FMC, but I definitely like Winter a lot more than I thought I would.

I love that this book was grump sunshine, but with the MMC as the sunshine. It also has a surprise pregnancy, which usually isn’t my favorite, but this was written perfectly.

I also loved seeing Winter and Summer’s relationship grow too. I’m glad they are finally able to move forward from the past and have the relationship with each other that the my truly deserve.

As for Dr. Rob Heart and Dr. Mariana Hamilton can literally go f themselves.  🤬🤬🤬 They are both a toxic POS!! Excuse the language, but oh my were they awful.

Finally, Mr. Harvey Eaton. I absolutely love you!! Can you please get your own book!! I  would so love to read that, even with the geriatric version of the procreation prowl.

I really loved this one, Theo is such a sweetheart and I was surprised at how much I ended up living winter even though it was a bit frustrating watching her backtrack alot.
The steam scenes were great!
