My husband and I disagreed on this book - but my log in, my rating. He liked that it highlighted imagination - I didn't like some of the scenes.
This is an older child book that they could read on their own but, as is usual for my complaints, I feel that it will be shelved in the young kids area as it is a picture book.

I wasn't sure where this was going, but it turned out just lovely. Nice tribute to getting lost in art and the imagination.

Absolutely amazing illustrations. Loved the story too even if I didn't love the ending so much. Recommend for everybody who loves picture books, flights of imagination and good art.

I was hoping this book would have a substantial look at nature, but I was mistaken. The story wasn't as warm and tender like others I've read about children escaping their daily lives to venture out in the wild. The only wild thing here is a secret creature the narrator keeps hidden until it is exposed!

I'm not sure what the lesson here is; although, the artwork is excellent.

Un libro muy cuqui y con unas ilustraciones muy chulas.

This is an odd story. It feels like a story of getting lost in your own imagination, much like an ode to Where The Wild Things Are, but it is difficult to follow and left me feeling more confused than interested.
