This is such a sweet story. I love both of these characters so much. I don’t usually love age gap but this was a reasonable ten year gap which didn’t bother me. There is mention of past emotional abuse so don’t read if that triggers you. I think I connected so much because I was once in a similarly abusive relationship and I have adhd so I understood so much of both characters. I highly recommend you read the other books in the series because there’s a decent amount of background on Quinn and you’ll know more of the side characters. Ugh I’m just sad I’ll never get to read this for the first time again. Willow Dixon knocks it put of the park again!

Quinn has been a favorite of mine in this series, especially when he bonded with Nick in Fakers with Benefits.
What I love about Willow’s books is that the relationships seem to develop so organically. I love how Quinn and Tristan transitioned from neighbors to friends, and then to more.
Let me tell you the COMMUNICATION in this book is TOP. NOTCH. Between Quinn’s ADHD and Tristan’s anxiety due to his previous relationship, there was plenty of times where a communication breakdown could’ve caused issues, but the way they talked to each other was beautiful and so refreshing!
After reading this, I can tell you that if you want a slow and sweet buildup to that happily ever after, you’ll get it in this book. I cannot wait for the next book in the series (especially now that I’ve read this one)!!!

An excellently written slow burn, friends to lovers romance between new neighbours, Quinn and Tristan, along with a bi/demisexual awakening.
This is an overall heartwarming story that also has some hurt comfort elements when talking about a past relationship that comes across as having emotional abuse by a spouse.
Quinn is a character that fans of the series have come to love as Stone Mason and now he's got to the point where he can buy a house and start his contracting business, which includes hiring a most of the guys from the Crimson Club. He gets to know his neighbours, Tristan and his son, Leo, after rescuing their sphynx cat. I really enjoyed how easily their friendship came for them both, something that they are in need of. Tristan basically works and spends time with his son so having another adult who isn't his sister for company is a novelty and having him look as good as Quinn does is an extra perk. One of my favourite things, though, is how Tristan sees Quinn, not Stone Mason, even after finding out and seeing some of his content. He knows the difference between the two and much prefers the man in front of him. Quinn's and Tristan's insecurities come out throughout the story and they are full of support for each other, as are the important people in their lives - Tristan's twin sister and all the guys from the Crimson Club. You can always count on them for entertainment but they're all always there for each other in a heartbeat. Leo is also a sweetheart, easily loveable and just as endearing as the menagerie of animals he and his dad have.
Another worthy read from the Crimson Club series. Not as heated as other books have been in the series but just as worth reading.
I received an ARC and am happily giving a review.

This book was amazing! I just couldn’t stop reading and I finished it in a day. I would give it way more stars than five if I could! I was so curious about Quinn from the other books in the series, and this story was even better than I had hoped for. Tristan is amazing, and all the cats and dogs made me so happy. I love them together, how loving and sweet and understanding they are. Both deal with trauma and trust issues, and the way they treat each other is just the best. All the struggles Tristan has because of his douche canoe ex made me want to give him the biggest hug, and I’m so happy he has Quinn now to so that. And I loved the ADHD rep with Quinn, and everything he’s dealing with because of that, and the way Tristan helps him with it all. Nothing but love for this book! ❤️❤️❤️
