Such a heart renching tale of a woman who's life was torn apart by a disgusting human being. This kind of things happens so often and she was brave to stand up to him. You are beautiful Katie Piper!

If it were in just words, it's really hard for me to imagine the kind of hurt and difficulty that the author faced. I am grateful to be introduced to this book, because without it, I might still be taking the wonderful things, people and life for granted. Thank you Katie for opening up and taught us these life lessons! :)

This book broke my heart .
The author has such a strong tone throughout her book and it’s so awful to hear what she has been through as she seems like an incredibly kind person.
What has happened to her is so awful, but I pressed on with this book to be strong for her.
But she doesn’t need me to be strong for her because Katie piper is truly an angel who can overcome anything !

I had no idea what Katie Piper went through before, during and after the acid attack that changed her life. Parts are hard to read, her physical pain and emotional torment are so raw, but this is no misery memoir. Katie has forged a new life out of horror and remains a total inspiration.

This was the first ever book I read on my kindle and I could not put it down! Katie wrote the book in a way that not only made me realise how scary the world is but also kept me on the edge of my seat begging to know what happened next. Katie piper is such an inspirational person and after reading this book I realised how moving the story of her life is.

This book was an okay read. It's not bad, but not that amazing it deserves five stars, therefore I gave it three stars
