It's hard to rate these books that have become household names, especially one like this that unquestionably changed the face of a genre. Besides my own personal tendency to avoid dystopia YA lit, I don't think there's many issues I can genuinely find with it. The protagonist is someone who behaves a believable way for believable reasons, she isn't some Chosen One, and she doesn't just Luck her way into winning everything. I like how Collins sets up pieces that she lets fall at just the right places, and how there's a definitive reason why we hate the overarching government. It's a little confusing as to why there hasn't been more rebellion in the previous 74 years, but maybe that's something I'll learn more about as the books continue.
